2003年生まれ。堺市出身。5歳でギターに触れ、6歳からソロ・ギターに傾倒。2015年、12歳でデビュー・アルバム『First Step』をリリース。2017年には「Fingerpicking Day 全国大会」にてグランド・チャンピオンを含む3冠を獲得し、同大会の最年少記録を更新した。圧倒的なテクニックと独自のアレンジセンスで国内外の音楽ファンやミュージシャンから高い評価を受け、YouTubeを始めとしたSNSでの総再生回数は8000万回を超える。次世代を担うギタリストとして注目されている。
Kento Nishimura – Profile
Born in 2003 in Sakai City, Japan, Kento Nishimura began playing guitar at the age of five and devoted himself to solo guitar from the age of six. In 2015, at just 12 years old, he released his debut album First Step. In 2017, he won three major prizes, including the Grand Champion title, at the Fingerpicking Day National Competition, becoming the youngest winner in the event’s history.
Renowned for his outstanding technique and unique sense of arrangement, he has earned high praise from music fans and musicians both in Japan and abroad. His videos have surpassed 80 million total views across platforms such as YouTube. He is widely recognized as one of the most promising guitarists of the next generation.
